What if it breaks? / E se si rompe?

“Why do you have to take everything apart?”
“So I can figure out how it fits together.”
“What if it breaks? Don't talk. Shut up and feel.”

Taken from: Empress of the World

“Perché devi dissezionare il tutto?”
“Cosi posso capire come il tutto combacia insieme”
“E se si rompe? Sta zitta. Chiudi il becco e senti.”

Because it is home / Perchè è casa

“Because it is home. It is a place where questions are answered, the void filled, the path of life made brighter. It is where the body, mind, and heart can become more intimately connected to the spirit”

The Celestial Bar: A Spiritual Journey

Travellers / Viaggiatrici

“I was told that concerning sex man are like tourists and women are like travellers. Women as regards to sexual pleasure are infinite”

I really liked this definition...
(I'm sorry not yet translated in English)

Sex is metaphysics / Il sesso è metafisica

“Because sex is not there to answer questions such as “it is ok what I am doing?”, “is it right?”. No, sex answers always to the question “who am I?”. Because sex is metaphysics in its pure and practical state…
According to my own personal opinion the true reason why we make love is: to discern, starting from what we are, who we are.”

The Non-handbook of Sex by Valérie Tasso
(hasn’t been translated in English yet. Sorry folk!)

Mind-boggling!!!

“The great awareness comes slowly, piece by piece. The path of spiritual growth is a path of lifelong learning. The experience of spiritual power is basically a joyful one.”

Peck, M. Scott

An very appropriate quotation for this period particular period of my life. My mentor always tells me “There is always a choice”. And in this period I choose to wait and learn with joy.
And by the way life has a funny way to remind you of important things. While I was driving I heard this song which well is much more than fitting to reinforce the message through!

Today while driving, heading to work I heard a saying from my favourite astrologer, Branko. It said something like that:

A pessimist is the one that grumbles of unfavourable wind.
An optimist is the one that waits for the wind to change.
But it is the realist that changes the direction of the sails.

(Sorry not available in English...and didn't feel like translating 30min of video)

To receive and convey / Il ricevere e il porgere

“Now is your turn to transform yourself into a vessel to receive what our people has horded for generations, but do not forget that a cup does not only serve to receive….its richness evaporates by half its amount if one delays to convey it to the hungry and thirsty lips.”

“You see, men are like the clay I am modelling with my hands because they can decide to remain a shapeless, lifeless lump or else decide to live to a well-defined purpose: the only difference is that each one of us is his own potter.”

From: The Hidden Face of Jesus from Essene Memory, by Anne and Daniel Meurois-Givaudan

Freemasonry's Tolerance / Tolleranza Massonica

“Every man’s opinions are his own private property, and the rights of all men to maintain each his own are perfectly equal. Merely to tolerate, to bear with an opposing opinion, is to assume it to be heretical, and assert the right to persecute, if we would, and claim our toleration as a merit.”

"Feeling isolated means, not having anyone around or not perceiving who’s around; not identify ourselves with observable experiences; not feeling life’s expressions reaching us and echoing in ourselves. It means also loosing the possibility of interlocution…

So we strategically choose to adjust ourselves to a world where relationships are unfamiliar, isolating from our image the truest part of ourselves. We build an image that is publicly respectable, that doesn’t represent our authenticity, which sometimes compresses or downright contradict it…

Forced in our invisibility, our petitions become mute sufferings…

Rarely challenged, deprived from contact with reality, our dreams risk dying due to malnutrition, not to grow, to remain fixed in an dreamlike time. And this surrealism is already painful. The dream in fact,is not only a dream in itself: we demand that it becomes the world we would like to have a place in …

Just let us remain in the lexical world: how many times yet, not pronouncing a word means stripping the event to which it refers of its true significance? For how long still does pronouncing the word “lesbian” in public will cause embarrassment or astonishment in at least one person present? Is this not a sign of how much is still in vigour “dictatorship”through words? "

Taken from: Delia Vaccarello, Introduction to Principesse Azzurre Vol 2.

Costrette all'invisibilità le nostre istanze diventano sofferenza muta...

Comes The Dawn / Arriva L'Alba

I’ve just read this beautiful poem and wanted to share. Found it on the internet site thelesbianlifestyle.com.

After a while you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul, and you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning and company doesn’t mean security. You begin to understand that kisses aren’t contracts and presents aren’t promises.

You begin to accept your defeats with your head held high and your eyes open. With the grace of a woman and not the grief of a child. You learn to build your roads on today because tomorrows ground is too uncertain for plans, and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.

After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much, so you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
You learn that you really can endure, that you really are strong and you really do have worth.
You learn and learn and you learn with every good bye you learn.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

e l'invidia
cresce solo nel giardino del re."

Che vira verso lo spirito.

E collima nel pube.

Eccoti!"
