Ignitable Me / Potenzialmente Infiammabile

If you are feeling  like someone has switched on the heater or the on switch of the publicity bunny and you feel you HAVE to take action on everything that happens in your life just now; If you are feeling as if your words just come out in the wrong way, or people (or you?) are acting weird and loose their tempers quickly…
Then do not worry Mars is literally igniting the skies above and humans below. He is meeting with the big guys Pluto and Uranus… that always means an energy that is not easily contained especially during an eclipse season and in the darkest phase of the Moon.
My advice, rest as much as you can, take note of what surfaces especially dreams…then act later on next week. And yes try to breath and count before you answer…

On Mess and Healing / Il Caos e la Via della Guarigione

Sometimes we just know that we have to look at the mess and go through it. There is nothing else we can do. Going back is just a question of suppression and of fermentation. Things will come back sooner or later, usually with more vigour.

We all have our own expertise, our own brand of mess. We know it. Having the courage to look at it is already the start of a healing journey.

What is happening in the world is just a huge reflection of what is going on in each one of us. The world is going through a deep mess. A mess that has been festering and fermenting for long decades and centuries. Not just looking at it but also owning it is a start.

The world has its own healing journey that is made by each of our own single healing journeys.

Neptune, the great dissolver and Chiron, the great healer, in the sign of Pisces, the healer of emotional and psychic level have been at it for a long time and will still be going on for a long time.

Pluto, the great transformer, in Capricorn, the master of the pragmatic functioning whole, has been slowly, surely and dramatically changing the world we live in.

Saturn, the great teacher, in Sagittarius the seeker and teacher of the truth, is having us to face dogmas, religions and philosophies that have thwarted with our natural identity.

Uranus, the shatterer of limits, in Aries, the pursuer of independence and freedom for one’s own identity, has been giving us a push to assert ourselves in our own personal identity and dignity.

Embarking on a healing journey is never easy. It needs a good dose of courage. We will get hurt and sometimes we can’t avoid that others will get hurt too.

But I personally think we owe it to ourselves and to all the world. What we heal inside ourselves will have a direct effect on the world because we are all connected.

As above so below, as within so without, as the Universe so the Soul.

Versione Italiana

Come sopra sotto, come dentro fuori, come l’Universo così l’Anima.

Bisogna avere il caos dentro la vostra anima per fare nascere una stella danzante. Freidrich Nietzsche

Beltane and Freedom 2016

Beltane 2016 this year happens at the 5th May 2016 at 03:42 CED.

It is now two weeks that I have left the corporate world. It was 17:25 when the aeroplane hit the runway to take off to leave Milan to Rome and precisely at that time the Sun had just entered Taurus.

Now the Sun is at nearly at 15 degrees Taurus, the mid point of the fixed Earth, Beltane. This is the first Beltane I am celebrating as in my new life.

In these last two weeks people have been repeatedly telling me “Now you are a free person”. The first thing one of my ex-heads, that day just after I signed the resignation was, “Now you are a free person”. And that made me think….Why before I wasn’t?

The day after my area ex-co-workers sent me a message saying….Good Morning to your first day of freedom…. We admire your courage.

I wanted to answer back: that freedom and courage have a price…an unfathomable price…but I did not. I think no one can understand the price each of us pays to be truly who one is. Something I had not the courage until lately.

And with that Uranus came to my mind…

The resignation of my ex-job is the story of my Uranus - Uranus opposition (and some other stuff as well). I had read and studied about the Uranus-Uranus opposition…something I have seen people pass through and take huge decisions in their lives…the so called mid-life crises. I thought I wouldn’t do such a huge transformation in my life…leaving the known for the unknown. I deemed I had not the courage those people had.
I remember saying to my mentor, Helen Tremeer: I can never leave my job when I have nothing secure on the other side….and yet here I am…

Mine started a few days before my 40th birthday, when I fell from my bicycle and broke my rib. From then on my life has started becoming a crescendo for my true identity, of breaking of bars that kept me jailed. (Not that now there aren’t any, but life is a continual evolution and revolution.)

Astrology came into play and it helped me keep sane when all felt hazy and I felt I was going mad…with frustration, pain, worry and rebellion.

Various persons came into my aid. When the student is ready, the master appears. And to my teachers, mentors and friends I would like to say, “THANK YOU”.

So today I want to celebrate and toast to all this odyssey up to now.

Beltane is always special to me, it always brings to fruition changes that have been seeding in my soul for a long time. Perhaps it is because of my Taurus Moon. I do not know. This year it happens with a Balsamic Moon...that sweet spot, that melting pot, between what is now past and the future that has yet to manifest.

So here to Uranus, for breaking the jails of my captivity, for being, as my teacher Ingrid Naiman says, the Messenger of the Spirit into Matter.

To Neptune, that is still making this journey such mystically foggy and making stillness a point of being.

To Pluto, for bringing that pain/s up to the surface, for the long overdue transformation and the acknowledgement of my own personal healing power.

And to my Taurus Moon…for showing me where I have been coming from in these various life-times and for showing so much patience with all the rest of the astrological pack.

(The track below is called Sweetness of the Earth by Anugama. It has been one of my most favourite tracks to calm myself down, stop from panicking (or vomiting) and meditate, long before I knew what I was doing was called shamanic journeying. This is also the track I was listening when that aeroplane hit the runway to freedom. The name of the track can’t be more Taurus!)

Blessed Beltane to you and yours!

Blessed Be!

The Fool and an Ayurvedic Massage

It all started with the image of the Tarot card, The Fool and the following words:

“Dance Mage.
Dance on the strings of Fate that the Universe is weaving for you.
Dance…
Cause the strings are Fated yes,
but it is up to you for the pattern to create.
Dance Mage”

I was the Fool. I was on the precipice of an enormously huge cliff. In front there was another equally huge cliff.
I looked down. All I could see was an unpenetrable darkness. No end.
There was wind rising.
I had been many times in these last few weeks on this precipice. Terrified of leaving all behind me. Of acting literally like a Fool to society’s eyes…
But this time something had change, as I looked down a thought came through my mind…
“Perhaps it is down you should go and not remain on this plane or fly”.
So I took the step in the void of thin air…
A small white parachute opened softly lulling me in the winds of change, suspending me for a moment or two where I could see the  horizontal plane and the spot from where I had just walked to oblivion.
I softly started my descend…whilst repeating the phrase, perhaps it is down where I should go…
The light of the Sun grew dimmer and dimmer as the walls of the two cliffs started closing on me.
I had no idea where I am going…and yet I felt, perhaps free of the known world and its shackles.
Darker and darker it became. I couldn’t even see my feet. I could feel the warmth radiating from the cliffs that I could feel were slowly burying me in the sweetness of Mother Earth. A burial?
I stopped looking upwards…no need to. My known world has vanished, for never to be.
I looked downwards towards my feet.
At first I thought my eyes were playing on me but as I descended further I could glimpse shimmering globes of light.
I started again discriminating the rocks reflecting the yellowish light coming from what seemed a valley.
I could discern other features too, as if, sort of, a long market, lining the narrow valley.
I could see green lights and people walking around. Some looked up…waving.
I landed softly on the field near this market, gladly touching solid ground. People came to greet me with huge big smiles. As if they were waiting for me.
The people were smaller in height than I. Strange beings that felt like elves.
They guided me to the market, which was made of a long series of stalls, some built in the caves, some built with beautiful wooden structures with plants climbing around them.
In wonder I paused at every stall, to observe what was inside.
The first stall was full of astronomical tools. The shopkeeper turned bemused towards me, picked a small golden telescope and gave it to me.
“Mage, this is for you to look at the stars whenever you want and feel the need to”.
Placed the shining telescope in my hands, smiled and bowed.
I turned round and the shopkeeper on the other side of the stall, that sold books, came towards me and gifted me with a small leather book. It had blank yellowish pages.
“Mage, this is for you so you can write what you observe, so you may learn to weave your own remedies and the music of the Spheres”.
He bowed and smiled.
I moved forward to the next stall full of crystals. A woman came to greet me. In her hand she held a  necklace with a dark oval crystal dangling from it.
“Mage, this is an Amethyst cut just for you, for protection and healing. Keep it always on you.”
I bowed and she clasped the necklace round my neck. For a second I saw the Amethyst flicker as if to say hello.
I turned round and there was another women with a freshly baked loaf of bread in her hands.
“This is for you Mage. It is an eternal bread so that you may never feel hungry” .Tears of gratitude welled my eyes. She smiled, caressed my hands and bowed.
Next came a man that was filling some small bottles with strange florescent liquids. He put the corks on and he placed some in my hands. Clasping both my hands, he whispered:
“Mage, these are your first aid kit, for you and others. Use them wisely”.
He smiled and bowed.
Turning round I saw a woman coming towards me with a leather flask. She had just filled it from the spring water that was coming down from the rocks.
“This is for you Mage, so that you may never feel thirsty. Remember water is the first healing remedy”
Another woman approached me with a dark leather satchel.
“This is for you Mage to carry. Pay attention what you place inside for there it will remain. With time you will learn how to manifest things from inside.”
A man and a woman approached me with a beautifully woven mantel. On the rim of the dark blue cloth were woven golden symbols and flickered as if alive.
Both clasped the mantel on my shoulder. The woman breathed:
“This is for you Mage. It is an Invisible Mantel so you may always be warm and safe”.
Then a man handed me a red wooden long staff with a pointed white translucent crystal at the top.
“This is for you Mage, so you may always feel supported and thread safely through your journey”.
The crowd then slowly parted and I saw a tall wise elderly man waiting for me with a smiling face.
“Welcome Mage. I was waiting for you. Your journey has just become”.
With that Great Horned Owl and Lynx appeared on either of my sides and I started walking with the Elder towards a precarious-looking bridge that hanged on another precipice.
The mist was rising from the precipice and between haziness I could vaguely make out a castle rising on mountains covered with thick forests.

This journey I experienced whilst I was having an Ayurvedic massage at 13:30 CEDT, the exact time of the New Moon in Aries conjunct Uranus, just off by two degrees from my natal Chiron that opposes my natal Uranus and squares my Venus and South Node.

My massage therapist is Roberta Felici.

Let the Hero’s Journey begin….on the flight to Milan tomorrow morning.

Anyone knows which deck is this please?

Book Review: Harness Astrology's Bad Boy

I have to be sincere. I took my time to read this book. As synchronicity has it I read this book in one of the most Pluto tinged (and other heavy astrology boys) period of my life till now.  Some parts of this book I read twice and each time I got something new out of it. So what to expect?
Divided into three parts:
Pluto through the Generations: that is Pluto’s very slow march through the signs which mark the differences in the generations that follow one after each other.
The Sun Signs: an enlightening explanation of each of the twelve zodiac signs with a clever weaving of the signs basic modalities, that is the element (Fire, Earth, Air and Water), quality (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable) and polarity (Yang or Yin). For each sign there is a small paragraph of that sign’s natural relationship with Pluto.
Pluto and the Houses: a very original description of the twelve astrological houses, that is the sectors in a natal chart that describe sections of our lives such as money, health, partnerships, career etc. where action takes place. This is the part I liked most. A very descriptive way of describing the houses adding insight to a sometimes hazy subject.
Written in a very friendly manner I would suggest the book to a beginner in astrology or the curious one. Although I have to say there were, now and then, hidden jewels that I treasured.
