The L Word Season 5 episode 4 / L Word Stagione 5 episodio 4

I’ve watched and rewatched L-Word episode 4, looking for something to talk about (except the obvious thing everybody talks about) but really I do not have much to say.
What touched me was the scene where two military man practically stormed in Alice’s apartment and starting looking around, observing and touching things. I felt anger boil in me.
Yes I do agree with Alice, behind a man that takes the right decision there is always a woman that helps him in the process. It was refereed to Beech, the lawyer who finally understood Tasha’s situation.
Shane at last succumbs to sex and since she has been on a strict diet she engulfs two at a time.
Jenny’s secretary is no fool at all. Under that naïve face, a hard working brain is on the move.
I sense cracks between Jodie and Bette. In fact what everybody was talking about was Bette and Tina’s kiss, passionate kiss.

The L Word Season 5 Episode 3 / The L Word Stagione 5 Episodio 3

Well I’m a bit late but here I am writing my opinion on L Word episode 3.
As many of you out there I loved the Charlie’s Angles opening scene. Bette being Charlie (there couldn’t be any other sensible choice, wouldn’t it?).
And what about the gay gun pointed towards Jenny…it went berserk and who pointed that gay gun…Shane the ultimate promiscuous lesbian.

Shane’s “moratorium on sex” is transforming her in a highly energized person, the excess energy needing a channel to fuel itself in before she reaches insanity level. So off she goes with all kind of physical and mental exercises, gym, yoga and learning 10 new words everyday. But would that keep her out of sex?
Everybody is nearly betting on this crucial question?

Jenny and her assistant: I have no adequate words to define their relationship. Tina defines it as “I feel as if I am going to vomit”. And what do you think of Jenny training for the pink race (the breast-cancer support race)?!

Max talks about a “same-sex attraction” being encoded in us. Do you know anything about it? There’s a continual innuendo between Max and Jodi’s assistant, Tom. The only one in this episode to give Max some attention.

Helen evolves in prison. Example of how gaining self-confidence, any situation can be turned into a profitable one…until her mother finally bails her out of jail…against her will.
But Helen has a surprise for us and at the end she out wins them all.
By the way what about Helena’s mother show as she strolled down the jail’s corridor. Have you ever seen a jail so full of lesbians?

Jodi takes Bette to a wild retreat with her fellow painters and artists. Never had a group been so diametrically opposite to Bette’s character. A fish out of the water or should I say out of the lake where she was thrown as a punishment.
At the end salvation came through Bette’s sister who was robbed at the Planet so they hurriedly went back home.

Tasha is officially investigated for homosexual conduct. She’s adamant to keep Beech (the military attorney) as her defence lawyer when it is so plainly obvious that he doesn’t care a single penny for the case.
My heart went out for her when she described to her lawyer with fervent voice that she loved to remain in the military and she couldn’t do anything about her sexual orientation. “I never decided to become a lesbian but I decided to join the service”. Good one! But will that be enough? However in another scene she accuses Alice of “taking all her f…king life” from her.

Everybody is trying to find a girlfriend to Tina….the search momentarily ends at a heart lesbian surgeon with aesthetically enhanced tits. Well at least we saw a bit of what Jodi would have described as timid lesbian sex she dismays so much. What is so wrong with timid lesbian sex.
Definitely we all will try to remember deaf sign language signals for cunnilingus, lesbian and f..k me baby.

E poi quella pistola gay puntata verso Jenny….è andata in panne.

The L Word Season 5 2nd Episode / The L Word Stagione 5 Secondo Episodio

Yesterday I watched the 2nd episode of L Word 5th Season.

The only serious argument I've seen is about Tasha and the "Don't ask. Don't tell" policy on military service. Hopefully this will serve the cause. I never saw so Alice so understanding. Maybe she is really in love with Tasha.

It was unbelievable what Shane is up to, generously “making love” to every single woman she meets and asks her to do so. In the mean time, she does the hair to all the bridesmaids, grooms, and bride. What a magnanimous person she is!

Helena makes me laugh a lot. Her facial expressions are really gorgeous. In Italian there is an expression that says “God first creates them, then couples them”. Well for Helena and her cellmate seems exactly the case. God first creates them, jails them and then “couples” them. Especially after she got to know that her cellmate is not in for killing someone but for tax evasion. Well what a couple. One steals, the other evades taxes!!!

Phyllis depicts very well the naivety we all passed through, at first love experiences no matter the biological age. I loved the phrase that Bette says to Phyllis that with a lesbian you need to break several times. As if we don’t know through first hand experience….

Jenny has found another all-round secretary….

Tina can’t get a date because she’s unconsciously or not, still in love with Bette.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Come no, ci siamo passate tutte!

The L Word Season 5 Episode 1/ The L Word Stagione 5 Episodio 1

Well I couldn't just not talk about the new L Word season episode 1. Although it has been aired in USA I've succeeded in watching it.
What can I say. Everybody said that the last seasons where too serious. I thought that it was more real life stuff.
Now what the authors are saying that they heard their audience and made it lighter and with much more sex.
Well if lighter means Shane becoming a butterfly flying from one flower to another than it is so.
If more sex means just showing Alice and Tasha uncovering their upper parts; or showing Phyliss and Joyce embraced after a preassumed intercourse and saying "wow", than we've got more sex.
I didn't like Jenny back on the scene. If I could have bombed her down during the episode sincerely I would have done so!
But maybe all this has a meaning. It should have, cause it is a TV series.
There's Tina and Bette never ending story going on again. Subtle looks that seem to give way to a possibility of them considering themselves as persons and could fall in love again with each other.
What I really liked was the opening part with Bette and Tina having to play the part of a happy lesbian couple in an interview for their child's school. I liked the phrase where they said that maybe the school was open to a lesbian couple but not to a divorced lesbian couple. (Bit of real life stuff?)
Mind you, I'm not saying I didn't like the episode is just I think it is just an appetizer. I'll wait to give my real opinion.
