As in any collection I found stories which I really enjoyed others which I really couldn’t understand what the author was trying to transmit to the reader. Few months ago I read vol 5 of the series and I have to say I have found it better than this one I’ve just finished.
At the end of the book there are various interesting and useful lesbian themed internet sites and a list of Italian books that have a lesbian tinge.
This is a passage from one of the short stories which I really liked, written by Alda Spav e Monia Lesta. It reminded me of the film Nina’s Heavenly Delights (2006) where curry met lesbian love.
“Alda dipped her fingers into Monia’s hair, abandoning herself and with her eyes closed whispered. “You are in my curry”. They nibbled at the white potato dumplings that they had dressed with small slices of bitter apples, nutmeg , a teaspoon of cream and flambé looks. They gently mixed the whole thing, transforming it into a creamy paste with their kisses and moulding it with their caresses. Awkwardness faded away. Alda discovered her place at the table of pleasure. Holding tight Monia and savouring her softly, she groaned: “You will always be my victual”.
The duvet, that lay on the bed, collapsed as a sponge cake, under their weight.
They merged endlessly in time.”
Principesse Azzure Vol. 2 è una collezione di brevi racconti d’amore e di vita di donne tra donne, a cura di Delia Vaccarello.
Come in tutte le collezioni ho trovato storie che mi hanno veramente trascinato nella loro lettura altri che sinceramente non ho capito quello che l’autore voleva trasmettere al lettore.
Pochi mesi fa avevo letto il quinto della serie. Se devo paragonare i due, il quinto della serie, mi è piacuto di più di questo appena letto.
Alla fine del libro ci sono “i link di carta” una lista di interessanti e utili indirizzi di siti web at orientamento lesbico e una lista di libri a tematica lesbica pubblicata nel panorama della letteratura italiana.
Questo è in passaggio tratto un dei brevi racconti che mi è piaciuto molto. Mi ha fatto ricordare il film Nina’s Heavenly Delights (2006), anche li si incontra l’amore lesbico con le spezie.
“Le dita di Alda affondarono tra i capelli di Monia che si abbandonò con gli occhi chiusi sussurrando: “Sei nel mio curry”. Assaggiarono gli gnocchi bianchi che avevano condito con unghie di mela annurca, noce moscata, un cucchiaio di crema, sguardi flambè. Mescolando con delicatezza il tutto, mantecarono i baci, impastarono le carezze. Ogni riserva appassì. Alda scoprì il suo posto alla tavola del piacere. Strinse Monia assaporandola mollemente: “Sarai sempre la mia vivanda”, sospirò.
Il piumino adagiato sul letto si sgonfiò sotto di loro come un soufflè.
Si miscelarono in un tempo senza fine.”
