“Pick me up!”
He looked around and couldn't see any one. He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice
say again:
“Pick me up!”
He looked in the water and there, floating on the top, was a frog.
The man said: “Are you talking to me?”
The frog said:
“Yes, I'm talking to you. Pick me up then, kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride!”
'The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up, carefully, and placed it in his front breast pocket.
Then the frog said:
“What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said? I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride.”
He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said:
“Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog. With age comes wisdom!”
P.S. Sincerely, I do not know if I want this kind of wisdom…maybe because I’m too young to understand and appreciate!!!
Un vecchietto di 70 e grande amante di pesca stava seduto nella sua barca quando sente un voce che gli dice:
“Prendimi!”
Lui si guarda intorno ma non vede nessuno. Pensa che sta sognando ad occhi aperti ma risente la voce che dice di nuovo:
“Prendimi!”
Guarda nell’acqua e vede li galleggiando una rana.
Il uomo gli chiede: “Dici a me?”
La rana risponde: “Si che sto parlando con te. Prendimi, bacami e io diventerò la più bella donna che tu hai mai visto. Farò in modo che tutti i tuoi amici sono invidiosi e gelosi di te perché io sarò la tua sposa!”
Il uomo guardo la rana per un po’, poi si china, la prende delicatamente e la mette nel taschino da giacca.
La rana gli dici: “Ma che sei diventato scemo? Non hai sentito quello che ti ho detto? Bacami e io diventerò la tua bella sposa.”
Lui apre il taschino, guarda la rana e dice:
“Nooo, alla mia età preferisco una rana parlante. Con l’età arriva la saggezza!”
P.S. Sinceramente parlando non so se voglio questo tipo di saggezza…Forse perché sono ancora troppo giovane per capire ed apprezzare!!!
